Eli's Parent Commitment

We had Eli's parent commitment at church a couple of weekends ago (April 6th). It is where a group of new parents stands in front of the church and commits to raising their children in a Christian home. The preacher asked our families to help in our commitment and pray for us as well.

They went down the row and said a little something about each child and showed them on the big screen. The little girl that was before Eli was sleeping and everyone in the church started laughing when it got to her, and it scared Eli! So then everyone started laughing when they saw his face and it scared him even more! His little face was so cute up there. He was tough and didn't cry, but you could tell he wanted to! What made it even more funny was our little tidbit about him was that he is so laid back and that sleeping and smiling are his specialties:

The church gave us a little packet for Eli that had a letter to us, a bible for Eli, and a letter for Eli to open when he is saved.
