This sweet, sweet baby turned 5 months old this week (April 6th)! I seriously can not believe he is almost half a year old. Time went by really fast with Eli, but it is just FLYING by with Ian. And I just can't get enough of him right now! He is so sweet and snugly and starting to be more interactive. I want to just soak it all up!
- We started using his activity jumper this month. He really likes it! He loves "standing" there and watching Eli play. He is starting to try and put some weight on his legs too.
- We moved him to his room on 3/13.
- Moved to size 3 diapers this month
- Around 3.5 months he started waking up several times in night. Thankfully he would go back to sleep pretty easily with his paci. Might have been a 4 month sleep regression? Or teething? Or a growth spurt? It lasted about a week or so, then he went back to his regular sleeping patterns.
- We are still swaddling him at night, but it's getting so close to time to unwrap him. He is just about broken free most mornings when we go get him. He hasn't tried to roll over in the swaddle yet, which is when it means it's definitely time to stop!
- He is trying so hard to roll over from his back to his tummy (when he's not swaddled). He gets all the way over, but he can't get that other arm through yet. And it makes him so mad! LOL!
- We tried to start getting him to bed a little earlier and at a more regular time this month. We put him to bed around 8-8:30 after his last feeding and he usually wakes up right around 7.
- He is still nursing every 3-3.5 hours during the day, usually 5 times per day total.
- He found his feet this month and he loooooves them! I will open up his pajama pants and get his feet out because it makes him so happy to play with them!
- He started growing some little peach fuzz on his head. It's so soft!
- He is bringing things to his mouth to try and chew on them.
- He seems like he might be teething, but it's hard to tell. The doctor said they are extra drooly and like to chew at this age anyway, so I'm not sure.
- Weighs *around* 18 pounds
- Wearing 6 and 6-9 month clothes
- Hasn't been sucking his thumb much any more. I miss it!
- Found his tickle spot! He is really ticklish under his chin/collar bone area. It's so cute! He is also a little ticklish on his tummy and thighs, but the collar bone one is the best.
- Starting to get so interactive and still LOVES watching Eli play. His whole face lights up when Eli comes up to him (mostly distracting him when he's trying to nurse!).

So chunky and happy!!! Love him!
