Eli-Isms Volume VII

Eli has been saying some pretty hilarious (and sweet) stuff lately. I can't get nearly all of them down, but I'm trying my best to get a lot of them so I can remember this fun/special time! Here are a few:

• Calls his booty his "body"
• Picked up plastic bat and says "this can do the job!"
• says "Hindergarden" for kindergarten and is starting to talk about it a lot
• One day he was talking about bad cars and he said "but they're good now. Their tummies were just really hungry and that makes people mad sometimes"
• If I speed up in the car kind of quickly, he says "It seems like you're speeding" LOL
• WRESTLE!!! He loves loves loves to wrestle right now! He says "you're gonna have to do better than that!" and "You know what I do to big boys like you?!" (that's to Chris, cause Chris will say "do you know what I do to little boys like you" when they wrestle) It is hilarious!
• Likes to watch "real races" (Nascar). Said we're in the M&Ms car and we're in the lead. He said he put some dust out to slow the car down behind us. Always wants to see some wrecks. Holds his hands out like he's driving the steering wheel.
• "Especially" "apparently" and "probably" - he uses these (mostly incorrectly) all the time now
• He LOVES to ride the bus at church (we park kind of far away and they have buses that take you right up to church). He is so into it and asks every week if we can ride it. The first time he sat right up front and narrated the whole time and even put his hands up like he was doing the steering wheel. It was so precious.
• He's really into "deals" - He will spout off a bunch of stuff he wants to do and then say "Deal?! Deal."
• One day he told me "Let's get rolling before the storm"
• Looks down at his wrist. My watch says it's time to go swing me and Ian
• He sometimes likes to play "I spy" at night time with books instead of me reading them to him. 
• "Mmm mmmm that tastes mighty good"
• Loves to go with me to wake Ian up after nap or in the morning
• One day he just said "But there's no use" - I have no idea where he gets this stuff!
• On the way to church one day he said "I like your hair and your shirt." I said "Thanks bud." Then he said "I just like the whole thing of you." My heart!😍😍😍😍
• "Come on Ian!" - I hear this about 1 million times a day now. He loves Ian to come in his room and play (and jump on the bed). I love how they are becoming such good friends.
• When he gets out of the bath, he always wants to wrap up in the towel and be a "sack o' taters" 
• His friends at school lately are Ayden, Brady and Harper 
• One day I said it's a pretty day Eli and he said "pretty day, you said it mama" LOL!
• "You gotta come believe this!!" when he wants you to come see something
• He's started getting into what day of the week it is. If you ask him when something is, he usually says "Nunday" 
• One day a couple of weeks ago, he just started calling me "mom" and Chris "dad" - it is definitely taking some getting used to. It's just too big!
