Here are some of the funny/sweet things Eli has been saying lately. I seriously wish I could remember all the funny things they do/say!
- Eli calls the Yankees the "ankees" - so he wears his "ankees hat like Daddy"
- He uses "not bad" a lot, but usually not in quite the right way. So it's "not bad daddy's home" or "not bad we get to go to the park today"
- "I'll be back in a jitty"
- Booby traps! He's all about booby traps lately. So funny.
- We sat at a red light too long and he said "Come on now" but it was super country sounding - like "come own now!"
- The other day he said "I loooove me some batillas (which is tortillas)"
- I caught him doing this little piggy with Ian's toes a few times ❤️ so sweet
- In the car, he wants to listen to one of his CVs (CDs)
- I was tucking him in the other night and he got all serious. I thought he was about to hit me with a deep thought. He said "Mom, I just looooove getting groceries at Super 1"
- He kept asking for something from the grocery store and we couldn't figure out what it was. Finally we figured out what he was saying and it was "Dirty Doritos" - he said because they get your hands all dirty.
- Eli and Ian were playing in the room together one day. Eli said "me and Ian are having a date night. Wanna join us?!" How could I resist.
- They were also playing in Eli's closet with a flashlight for like 30 minutes one night. I opened the door and Eli said they were having a hideout and roasting marshmallows.
- Chris was driving a car on Eli the other day and Eli said "Do I look like a race track to you?"
- One day he called Ian "fur brains" LOL!
- One night after I read his book to him he said "you just did it girl!"
- Me and Eli were playing one and he said he stole my castle. I said I had guards protecting it, what happened to them?! He said "I finished them" 😱😬😳 lol
- When we are going somewhere he will ask Ian "are you exciting?!"
- We were watching a show one day and a "bad guy" came on. Eli said "I have a bad feeling about this" Ha!
- He likes to "take cars" he sees when we're driving or out somewhere. He just "grabs" it and then usually gives one to whoever is in the car with him.
- He calls light bulbs "light bolts"
