Wow! I can't even believe our baby boy is 2! The last two years have been so incredible for us. We are so blessed by Eli every single day. He makes our world better and makes us so appreciative of everything we have. He is such a sweet, sweet boy! And of course a little bit of a squirt too ;) we celebrated on his birthday with family and he had a BLAST!! It was so fun seeing him have so much fun.
Eli loves trucks, making tents, brushing his teeth, hiding things ("where'd it doe?"), giving Ian "ugs" (hugs") and kisses, pretending to go night night (puts his arms around your neck and closes his eyes really tight), kissing your boo boos, and blessing you when you sneeze or cough.
When I was pregnant, he would say "baby" then lift my shirt up and put his head on my belly to give baby an "ug" (hugs) and then say "baby night night"
Recently he has been asking for us to sing to him ("shong mama" or "shong dad"). Then he usually says "happy" which either means "If you're happy and you know it" or "You are my sunshine"

And he really got the hang of pulling that paper out (and tossing it!)
He got a bike and helmet! It was hilarious because we gave him the helmet first and he instantly ran to the door and said "Pa T truck, bye mama" - we think he thought since he had a helmet that he was going to ride Papa T's motorcycle. He was READY TO GO!! He loved the bike though and rode it all around the house.
He wanted Elmo to ride with him!
Then we had pizza and cake! He LOVED the birthday song (he was saying "shing shong" all day long)!
He got to use his construction plate and silverware from Aunt Jeannie. He thought that was so cool!
