Our sweet baby boy made his entrance into the world on November 6, 2015 at 8:59pm. He was 9lbs even, 21.25" long and just as sweet as he could be. The labor and delivery went very smoothly. Things progressed a little more slowly than they did with Eli, but once Ian got ready, it all happened very quickly. Eli had been up at the hospital with my family that night, but we didn't know when Ian would come and Eli was soooo exhausted (from entertaining every one all day; he takes that job very seriously) so he had gone home to go to sleep. He got to meet Ian the next day and it was about the sweetest thing I've ever seen.
We feel so blessed and thankful to have two sweet, healthy boys.

Eli wanted to "ug" (hug) him immediately!

And just because everyone was asking, I had to do a side by side comparison of him and Eli. Eli on the left, Ian on the right. When I first saw him, I thought he looked a lot like Eli, and I still think they have similarities, but each day I think he looks more and more unique.
On Sunday, Eli came to help us bring brother home. His Aunt Jayme gave us that monkey to give Eli when Ian was born, and Eli instantly grabbed it when he came in the room. I was glad he had a little something to take home too.
And his Elmo balloon from Nana. He loooooved it!

We're home!!
Let me tell you about my amazing mom and sister. Kacy stayed with Eli at our house while we were gone, which was so awesome! But not only that, when we got home, she had cleaned the house (including the back yard), gotten us gorgeous flowers, and arranged an assortment of diapers, clothes and toys for Ian on our dresser. I was just blown away. My mom had cooked an amazing roast dinner (and banana pudding) for all of us along with several frozen meals she had made us over the last few weeks to sustain us over the next few weeks. I really do not know what I would do without them. I am so, so grateful.
I am SO glad Ian is here and I am looking forward to being home with our new addition!!

Aaawweeee. Such a wonderful weekend I will never forget!!!
