Ian Turns 4 Months

Ian turned 4 months old today! We took him to church for his first time today to celebrate :) He went to "big church" with us and he did so good. He really liked the music, it calmed him and he went right to sleep. Chris and I were just talking this week about how we can't believe he's only been here with us for 4 months. I know it's going by SO fast but it feels like he has always been here as part of our family. We love him so much!!!

• Started finding his hands 2/18/16
• Had a growth spurt around 3.5 months - fussy and eating a lot for 2-3 days, then sleeping and pooping a lot after that for 2-3 days. Then started spreading feedings out a little more. We are feeding every 3-4 hours, usually 5-6 times per day.
• He still sleeps quite a bit. At least a little between every feeding usually.
• He weighs *around* 18 pounds
• Sucks his thumb quite a bit, mostly when he's trying to fall asleep. Will take the paci every so often, but prefers the thumb!
• We are still swaddling him at night, but are thinking it's probably time to stop soon. We're too scared to try though! Ha! He is still sleeping great so it's hard to change anything! 
• He LOVES when you sing to him. He just smiles and smiles, it's so sweet.
