A few weeks months ago, Dad and I took the boys to the Ellen Trout Park & Zoo to ride the train and see the animals. It was SO FUN! The little train ride was so neat; it runs all around the property and over a bridge, which Eli loved. Before the train ride, the conductor comes and collects your ticket and then says "ALL ABOARD!" which is Eli's new catch phrase now :) After the train ride, we sat at the picnic tables and ate our sack lunches. Then off to the zoo!
The little zoo was so neat too. There are peacocks that roam free all over, and Eli LOVED that. They were very loud and he kept saying they were "talking" to us. He was on a mission and after each animal he would say "let's go see more animals...let's keep going!" He was talking non-stop the entire time.
After the zoo, Dad and Eli went to the playground and played and played and played while I fed Ian. GoodNESS Eli was so tired after all that. He passed smooth out on the ride home. It was such a fun day!
