Eli 4 Year Checkup

Eli had his 4 year checkup the same day (mid-November). He also seems to be on track. We are so thankful for healthy babes!

Weight: 39lbs 6oz (77th%)

Height: 3'5.34" (74th %)

First time he's ever done the hearing and eye tests. It's hard to tell how accurate the hearing test was, but they said he did fine. It was kind of cool how they did the eye test. They had him stand away from the sign with the letters and then she would point to a letter and he would point to the same one on his sheet.

And a few things about Eli at this stage:

• His favorite thing is still CARS! But he's navigating away from the Cars movie (Lightning McQueen, etc.) and moving more toward regular cars
• He's very into superheroes right now. Dressing up, pretending, fighting bad guys, etc.
• He's also getting into colors/crafts/stickers quite a bit now.
• He and I like to play Candyland together.
• His favorite foods is peanut butter and jelly, followed closely by Mexican food (but really just tortillas).  His favorite fruit is still bananas!
• He LOVES his friends at school. His best friends are a little girl named Harper and a little boy named Ayden. They have been the same ones since he started at Colonial Hills.
• He still naps every day, but it's starting to get shorter and shorter. He averages about 1-1.5 hours a day now.
• He still LOVES his owliver animal. Sleeps with him every night and nap.
• He loves to pick out his clothes and usually changes a couple of times per day. He also loves to pick out his pajamas.
• He loves Ian and also constantly picks on him. Brothers!
• He loves to wrestle with us and play hide and seek. That's one of his favorites. And I spy.
• He and Ian both love "dance parties" in their rooms with the lights out and the disco light and music on. They pretty much love anything in the dark where they can use their flashlights or light-up toys.
• He remembers EVERYTHING even when you think he isn't listening! Can be scary sometimes!
• He can be shy/slow to warm up, but has a heart of absolute gold!
