Eli started Mother's Day out on Monday at Green Acres (1/11/16). It is the same place he used to go to daycare and where we go to church so he is already familiar with it, which is nice. He will go on Mondays and Thursdays from 9-2. The first week went pretty well. He was excited about "down slide" but once we got to the classroom he was hesitant to go in and got upset when I went to leave. I told him they would eat lunch there and that perked him up a little LOL. They said he cried a little at nap time but he fell asleep on the mat (I was shocked!) and he was still asleep when I picked him up.

I think he was trying to "cheese" for the picture but the sun was in his eyes, haha!
The second day we went, his sweet teachers had already gotten the trucks out for him before we got there. They know the way to his heart already :) They said he asked for mama a few times randomly, but then just went about playing. They said he played and played and played, and ate all his lunch!
He was so proud of the snowman he made this week!
I think this will be really good for both of us! I am excited for him to get to play with other kids and for the one-on-one time that I will get to spend with Ian!
