Ian's 2 Month Checkup

Ian had his 2 month checkup yesterday (1/15/16). The doc said he is looking great! He was very happy with his size and said his head and height are average for four month olds! He said it's great that he can get enough milk during the day since he's sleeping through the night now (he also told us not to tell other new parents that he's sleeping so good. Don't worry, we won't, we don't want to jinx it)!!

Height: 25" (98.09%)

Weight: 14lbs 7oz (83.97%)

Head: 41.9cm (97.79%)

He said his newborn screens all came back negative, which is great. 

We have talked about his head since day 1 since Eli needed the helmet and we are trying to avoid that this time if possible. Yesterday he said so far he doesn't see dents on either side and to keep up the tummy time. I told him it's harder now since he's rolling over and he said that's even better because that means he is developing well. I asked about the bumbo seat and he said Ian is definitely ready to start that so we'll try it out. 

He also said he likes how Ian raises his eyebrows when the doc talked to him. I hadn't noticed that! He said to talk in his face a lot. 

He did really good with his shots. He cried pretty good for just a few seconds and by the time the nurse said "all done" he was done crying too. Such a tough little guy!
