Ian Turns 2 Months

Ian turned 2 months old on January 6th! He is such a sweet, calm baby and he just fits right into our family! Here are a few notes from his second month!

• He had his first bath in the tub on 12/9
• Around 6 weeks we started trying the eat, wake, sleep cycle from the Baby Wise book. It seemed to really help with his sleeping (or was a coincidence with his age)
• He started sleeping through the night (most of the time) around 8 weeks old
• He had his first awake smile on 12/18 (6 weeks old)!
• Now he loves to smile and coo when you talk to him
• Weighs *around* 14 pounds
• Moved to 3 month clothes around 6 weeks old
• 1/5/16 started sucking his thumb. Doesn't do it often, but it's so cute when he does! Still doesn't take a paci much, but every once in a while he will.
• Several people say he looks like his mama, which is fun for me because Eli was always a Chris mini-me
• He has LONG, beautiful eyelashes!! He definitely gets that from his dad!
• His big brother's eyes light up every time he sees him. I love seeing how much Eli loves Ian!
