Ian's Parent Commitment Service

We had Ian's parent commitment service a few weeks ago at church (April 24). This is where we stand in front of the church and commit to teach Ian about Jesus and raise him in a home that honors Him. Honestly, the weekend of the service, Ian and I had both been sick and no one had really been getting any sleep, so I was just happy that we all made it there. However, I am so thankful and feel that we are so blessed to have this opportunity to commit to raising Ian to know Christ and just pray every single day that we will be able to do so. They had our family stand and agree to help us with this and to pray for us, which I am very thankful for. I know it takes a village!

Here are a few pictures from this special day:

Ian's cousin Beckett was also being dedicated that day. He's such a cutie!

Aunt Kacy and Pa T came to help me wrangle Eli before the service

They took a few family pictures at the church before the service

And a little video from the service:

They had put together a little folder for us and Ian with some keepsakes, a bible for Ian, and a letter for him to open when he is saved.
