Eli's 2.5 Year Checkup

We had Eli's 2.5 year checkup last week (6/9/16 - about a month after he turned 2.5) and the doctor said everything looks just fine. Right when the doctor walked in, he asked Eli about his cars and Eli proceeded to tell him all the names of the cars and ramble on about them quite a bit, HA! The doctor said he is happy with how many words Eli knows. I asked him about Eli not being able to say some of his letters and he said that is totally normal at this age. He said the goal is for them to be 3/4 understandable by the age of 3 and that he believes we are there, or very close.

Dr. Rogers also asked Eli about a couple of his boo-boos so Eli started showing him every single one. He was just so proud of all of them. The doc loved seeing them since that meant he was active and trying new things, etc.
On a side note, he calls the doctor's office the "doctor house" -  I have no idea why. He calls Daddy's work his "work house" too, haha!

Height: 3' 1.5" (88.15%)
Weight: 32lbs 9oz (76.85%)

He was a little unsure about the blood pressure machine, but he was okay by the end. This was the first time they had done it.

When the nurse left the room, she told Eli the doctor would be right in to "check out his muscles" so he was practicing up, haha!

Here is a little video of Eli at the appointment hamming it up

  1. That kid is the cutest, his little legs crack me up! Love him so much - and SO impressed that his car knowledge already surpasses mine, haha!
