Eli's Underpants

At Eli's 2.5 year checkup, the doctor had the "pooping in the potty" talk with Eli. He told him poo poo likes to be in the potty and not in his diaper. He said it makes the poo poo happy to be in the potty and asked if Eli could help make the poo poo happy (it was quite hilarious for such a serious convo). He told me to tape up some underwear that has something on it Eli likes (we used Lightning McQueen) to the bathroom door so he will see them every time he uses it and it will motivate him. Eli wants to wear them so bad, and knows when he starts pooping in the potty he will get them, but just hasn't quite gotten it down yet. We have also started telling him he will get a surprise if he goes and he always asks "what do we got for prize today?" LOL

The funny thing is, Eli calls them "underpants" - I think it must be because they call it that on Blaze (his most favorite show). It cracks me up. The first day I hung them up, he said "I reallllly wanna wear those underpants!" Then he pointed to them the other day and told Aunt Kacy "I'm gonna wear those underpantses!" haha!
